What Is "Veganism"?
Veganism is a philosophy that rejects the exploitation and treatment of animals as a commodity. The basis of veganism is not limited to nutrition, as is known among the people. Vegan individuals reject all animal products and activities that are consumed or used in our daily lives.
In veganism, none of the products you can think of are used in the fields of cosmetics, textiles and clothing containing animal raw materials, especially nutrition. Likewise, any activity in which animals are used or exploited is not accepted.
What Don't Vegans Eat?
As we mentioned, the foundations of vegan nutrition are based on herbal nutrition. No food of animal origin is consumed. Foods that are not generally accepted in a vegan diet are as follows:

- Poultry

- Milk and milk products
- Honey
- Egg
- All foods containing raw materials of animal origin
The foods listed above and the additives obtained from these foods, ready-made foods in which food preservatives are used, cannot be consumed within the scope of vegan nutrition.
What Vegans Eat?
All plant-based foods can be consumed in a vegan diet. In general, foods with high nutritional value should be preferred.

- Bread, rice and pasta
- Dairy alternatives such as soy milk, coconut milk, and almond milk
- Vegetable oils

Vegan diet, higher in dietary fiber, magnesium, folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin E, iron, phytochemicals and lower in dietary energy, saturated fat, cholesterol, omega-3 fatty acid, vitamin D, calcium, zinc, vitamin B12 tends to be.
